Top Ten Tuesday: Karen's Spring Reading List

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish.

My book backlog is out of control right now.  And never, ever has the to-be-read pile been so alluring.  See for yourself...

Time to get organized and buckle down on these puppies. What's on your nightstand, waiting to be read? Tell me so I can make me backlog even bigger ;)

i'm reading A game of thrones now. And Orson Scott Card's Seventh Son (Tales of the Alvin Maker series) at the same time. Looking at the previous comment, I just remembered i wanted to read Water for Elephants. I shall put that on hold at the library this minute! Look forward to reading your reviews of the books in your list! Esp the Murakami!

i'm almost done with "The Flame Alphabet" by Ben Marcus (which is phenomenally interesting and FAR better than "The Age of Wire & String").

after that, i've got DeLillo's "Libra" to finish, and the final three books in Stephen King's Dark Tower series (though i've read them all at least 8 times before).

i was thinking about checking out "By Blood," but passed on it for one reason or another. you'll have to let me know what you think of it when you get to it.

I've been wanting to read the Night Circus! I'm more of a read-what-you-have lady, so I have to get through a few on my shelf and Kindle first, including Game of Thrones. Currently, I'm reading The Legend of Alm, which was written by a friend from college! Yay, small publishing in a digital world!
